2 caught on video robbing Express Deli employees at gunpoint in Norwood

Two men robbed deli workers at gunpoint in the Bronx, stealing thousands in cash and their cellphones Wednesday, police say.

The incident happened inside the Express Deli on Bainbridge Avenue in Norwood just after midnight.

Omar Alneggar and his younger brother have only owned the deli for about a year since immigrating to the city from their country of Yemen.

The two bothers say they were held up at gunpoint by two men who walked into the store and forced them to open the cash register.

The men got away with about $2,000 and each of the brothers' cellphones.
