Traffic was at a standstill on Friday morning and into the afternoon after a truck struck an overpass on the Hutchinson River Parkway.
The truck struck the Westchester Avenue overpass, a notorious spot for these types of accidents.
The accident occurred despite numerous efforts by state officials to keep trucks off that road.
There has been no word on any possible injuries.
