Warmer temperatures melt snow, bring rain and fog to the BX

Temperatures have increased significantly since Saturday's snow fall, bringing rain and fog to the Bronx.

Many roads and sidewalks were cleared as of Sunday, with some slush, ice and puddles still on the roadways.

About 3 inches of snow accumulated in the Bronx Saturday morning. The snow slowly melted as the day progressed and the temperatures rose to the 50s Sunday, with some parts of the Bronx reaching 56 to 59 degrees.

Temperatures will drop again in the next two days being going back up to the high 40s.

Residents are still advised to take caution on city roads and sidewalks due to slippery conditions.

Drivers should expect low visibility, with some areas still experiencing fog.
