Homeowner creates homemade holiday display in Country Club

A homeowner on Stadium Avenue in Country Club has decked out his house with homemade holiday decorations for the 22nd year in a row.

Owner Frank Lubelli tells News 12 that he starts decorating the day after Thanksgiving. He says he works for a week and a half until the house is fully decorated.

Lubelli says his father inspired him because he used to decorate his home for Christmas.

His latest holiday additions include the Nutcracker, Daffy Duck and Darth Vader.

Lubelli says the electric bill goes up about $300 in December, but he continues to decorate for the holidays to spread some cheer.
