Bronx seniors pay it forward for the holidays
Seniors from a home in Morrisania helped pay it forward by making the holiday brighter for kids in need.
Organizers with Renaissance Adult Day Services and Home Care partnered with the homeless shelter Jackie's Place to bring gifts to the children living there. The kids were even treated to a visit by Santa.
Organizers say they received coats for the elderly this season so they wanted to bring the same joy to kids.
The kids were happy to receive their toys and parents told News 12 The Bronx that they were thankful for the donations.
