Man shot multiple times on Baychester Avenue

Police have released surveillance video of a suspect involved in at least one of four shootings in the Bronx that happened on New Year's Day.

Police say they are looking for a man captured on surveillance video in connection to the shooting of a man at the corner of Baychester Avenue and East 241st Street around 7 a.m. Sunday.

The 26-year-old victim was shot twice in the elbow and once in the rear. He was transported to Jacobi Medical Center and is expected to be OK.

A source says the two men may have been fighting over a woman prior to the shooting.

Police say the suspect is a man in his early to mid-20s and was last seen wearing a blue Adidas jacket.
