Castle Hill Houses tenants say they are plagued with mosquitoes

Tenants living in the Castle Hill Houses say their building is full of mosquitoes.

They say they say are constantly killing mosquitoes in their apartments and that it's been a problem for years.

Gladys Rodriguez says she cleaned a batch of mosquitoes out of her Seward Avenue apartment on Monday. She has mosquito tape hanging in her apartment, and says that she uses a new strip almost daily.

News 12 reached out to NYCHA after hearing her story. NYCHA said a plumber and vendor would be sent to the building Wednesday to treat flooding and a leak in the basement.

Residents say NYCHA has sent crews to fix the mosquito problem in the past but that the bugs kept coming back.
