President meets British PM, takes swipe at Mexico
President Donald Trump and British Prime Minister Theresa May met at the White House Friday to discuss the strong bond between the United States and the United Kingdom.
They jointly addressed the media afterward in Trump's first question and answer session with journalists since taking office.
The president took the opportunity to criticize trade relations with Mexico and border security.
"As you know, Mexico with the United States has out negotiated us and beat us to a pulp through our past leaders," Trump said. "On top of that, the border is weak, drugs are pouring in."
