Police arrest suspect after man was pushed in front of D train

Officials arrested a suspect Saturday who they say pushed a man in front of an oncoming train.

The suspect has been identified as 34-year-old Alberto Pena. Police say Pena and the victim, 43-year-old Luis Henriquez, got into an argument on the platform on the East 170th Street station Wednesday morning.

Henriquez lost his foot after he was pushed onto the tracks and struck by the oncoming D train.

Pena has been charged with attempted murder and three counts of assault.
