Snow leaves roads slick ahead of evening commute

Officials urged caution at bus stops and subway stations during the evening commute Tuesday, although snowfall subsided as the day went on.

The National Weather Service issued a winter weather advisory for the Bronx until 6 p.m., with the possibility of 1 to 3 inches of snow.

Lows are expected in the mid-30s Tuesday night with light winds and clearing skies, News 12 meteorologists say.

Wednesday will be partly sunny with highs in the mid-40s, according to forecasters.
