2 arrested after dozens of cars vandalized on Morrisania street

Two men were arrested after dozens of cars had their windows smashed and tires slashed on a Morrisania street Tuesday, police say.

The vandalism spree happened on East 167th Street and Boston Road.

Edward Robinson says he woke up to his car having two flat tires, and when he looked around he says he saw other parked cars that were vandalized.

Many of the cars were luxury vehicles, including an Infinity and three BMWs.

Broken glass littered the pavement below where the two suspects smashed out windshields and windows.

Police say they were able to make the arrests after reviewing surveillance video of the men in action.

Police were on scene advising owners of the cars to take pictures of the damage.
