Dietitian offers healthy Super Bowl options

When many think of watching the Super Bowl they think of wings, pizza and chips, but News 12 spoke with one health expert about some healthier alternatives.

St. Barnabas Hospital dietitian Tonya Hunt says it's easier to pack the pounds during the Super Bowl because most people are eating and not being active.

She says an alternative is to change snacks like chips to pretzels or popcorn, and have fruits instead of candy and cookies.

Hunt also suggest going on a hike or playing your own football game with the family to stay active before the game.
