Police: Jerome Ave. apartment building burglarized three times in Jan.

Police are searching for people responsible for burglarizing an apartment building three times on Jerome Avenue.

According to police, two of the crimes were carried out by a man who was caught on surveillance video. The third is still under investigation.

Police say the first burglary happened on Jan. 11. The suspect entered an apartment on the eighth floor and took a MacBook Pro and iPad that belonged to a 36-year-old man.

On Jan. 21, the suspect broke into another apartment on the seventh floor and ran off with a PlayStation 4, jewelry, an iPad Mini, a MacBook Pro, and a backpack, police say.

Ten days later, there was another burglary on the sixth floor.

Investigators say there was no forced entry in any of the burglaries, but say it's too soon to say whether the most recent crime is connected to the pattern.
