Bronx residents flock to stores to prep for Thursday snowstorm

Flannery Hardware received a massive shipment of ice melt, which residents flocked in to stock up on.

The manager at the store says it's best to begin salting before the storm actually hits.

"It makes it easier if you put down your calcium chloride," Jose Barbosa says. "If you put it down then that way you don't actually have to be working so much in the morning when the storm is out."
