Wild weather: Winter, spring, summer or fall?

Last week, Bronx residents took to the streets in heavy winter jackets to stay warm. Then they hid under rain gear Tuesday, and will have to dig out of snow Thursday.

But on Wednesday, temperatures climbed into the 60s, threatened to break records and the sun came out in full.

Residents took to the borough's parks on foot or on bikes. Some even laid out to take in the sun.

"It's gorgeous out here," remarked Harvey Brisco, who was out at Soundview Park walking his dog, Luke. "I hope the weather stays like this or gets a little bit warmer."

Unfortunately for Brisco, forecasts predict 6 to 9 inches of snow Thursday.
