New study shows more noise-induced hearing loss
A new study from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reveals that 40 million Americans have hearing damage as a result of listening to loud sounds, but that noise isn't always related to work environments.
Dr. Howard Moskowitz says every day sounds like construction work or cars can put people at risk for temporary or permanent hearing loss.
The study says that noise-related hearing loss can be seen in patients as young as 20 years old. The best way to catch it is to get checked out by a doctor.
