Police search for missing woman with Schizophrenia

Police are searching for a woman reported missing from her Bronx home.



Elizabeth Simms, 65, was last seen in Leroy Pharmacy around 12 p.m. Friday, less than a mile north of her home on Beach and Watson avenues.



Officials say Simms suffers from Schizophrenia and may be in need of medical attention.



Simms is described as a heavy-set woman, about 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighs 220 pounds.



Police say she has brown eyes and gray hair and was last seen wearing a medium black coat.



Residents are asked to call police with any information about Simms' whereabouts.
