Weather: Snow slows down, winds pick up in the Bronx

As the wintry mix that hit the Bronx Sunday has departed, the high winds that came with it are expected to remain, along with the tail end of some snow showers.

News 12 meteorologists say there will be some remnants of snow early Monday morning, followed by clear skies and gusts of up to 50 miles per hour. Highs will be in the upper 30s.

The National Weather Service has issued a high wind watch for the Bronx through Monday at 6 p.m.

On Monday night, clouds will reemerge as will freezing temperatures, with lows in the mid-20s.

A few flurries are expected on Wednesday.
