Bronx fashion duo hits Fashion Week for second time

Two Bronx residents fresh off their second Fashion Week are now looking ahead to their next adventure.

Melanie Rodriguez is the creator of the fashion line Milane Noir. She met her partner Brandon Espinosa when putting together sketches for clothing was just a hobby.

Rodriguez says her work is inspired by her journeys around the world. She manages the entire creative elements of the line, while Espinosa handles the business side of things.

Despite his business work, Espinosa helped inspire Milane Noir's latest collection after a trip to his dad's homeland in Cuba.

The work is based out of a tiny apartment in Riverdale, and has now hit the New York Fashion Week runway twice.

The two are also newly engaged and are planning to go to Morocco for their next adventure before possibly getting married in 2018.
