Morris Park will be in the dark for the second holiday season in a row after the Morris Park Business Alliance failed to raise enough money to hang Christmas lights. The organization needed $24,000 for local businesses to get the lights up, but only managed to collect about $2,200. Stores that did contribute to the holiday fund tell News 12 The Bronx that they plan to hang their own Christmas lights outside their shops to bring holiday cheer to the business strip.
