A 14-year-old Latin sensation from The Bronx is taking the hip-hop industry by storm, starting with social media.

Carlos Almonte, who goes by the name "BB Bronx," says that he's wanted to pursue a music career since he was 9 years old. Just a few years later, he already has several music videos on YouTube, a few original songs and a large fan base with more than 1 million hits across social media outlets.

Almonte says he was originally just called "BB," but wanted to add Bronx to the name so that no matter how far he goes, everyone will know where he got his start.
