A new facility is open at St. Barnabas Hospital to help patients recover from sudden injuries or strokes.

The new short-stay rehabilitation center on 183rd Street and Third Avenue gives up to 30 patients a place to get daily physical therapy at a brand new gym. The center's director says the facility features a team of doctors and nurses that is dedicated to help patients make a full recovery.

The center is for patients who will need about three weeks to recover from strokes, knee or hip replacements or back injuries.
