Loved ones said a final farewell to a 5-year-old boy who was allegedly killed by his own father in Morris Heights last week.

Services for Stewart Espinal were held at the Ortiz Funeral Home Tuesday morning, where his mother handed out white roses before heading to New Jersey for his burial.

The boy's father, 47-year-old Leonardo Espinal, has been charged with murder. According to police, Espinal admitted to feeding poisoned pizza to the young boy. He also allegedly gave it to his 7-year-old daughter, who is recovering at the hospital.
