USPS responds to postal complaints
The U.S. Postal Service has released a statement following mail service complaints at a Bronx apartment building.
As News 12 reported, tenants living at 1115 Intervale Ave. say that delivery has been a nightmare for years with their mail being late, sent to the wrong address or not delivered at all.
"Postmaster Lilliam Rodriguez is serious about service," the USPS said. "Her comprehensive plan to leverage service includes in part, meeting with Community Board members to discuss possible concerns in their mutual effort to providing satisfactory service in the community."
News 12 reached out to the postal service again to ask for specifics about the Intervale Avenue problems, but has not yet heard back.
