Bronx center helps elderly, disabled socialize

Dominoes, billiards and dancing are just some ways a new facility is helping disabled Bronx residents have a social life.
For people at Renaissance Adult Services on East 156th Street, it's more than just fun and games.
They say the activities are important because they're bringing the elderly, and those who have physical or mental disabilities out of their homes and into the community.
In its less than one year of operation, the center has nearly 50 members, including everyone from military veterans and people suffering from schizophrenia to those with hypertension and diabetes.
