Police search for suspects in Fordham stabbing

Police are looking for suspects in an assault and stabbing of a 15-year-old boy in Fordham.



The incident happened Monday on East Fordham Road at around 4:30 p.m.



Authorities say the suspects approached the teen and assaulted him before stabbing him. Witnesses say the victim stumbled into a nearby store before EMS workers got to the scene.



The teen is now recovering at Saint Barnabas Hospital.



No arrests have been made so far. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
