The Bronx has created the first official tourism guide dedicated to the borough's attractions and local eateries.
The Bronx Visitors Guide contains 44 pages and highlights the borough's historical sites, hidden gems and must-see attractions.
Borough officials say that they hope the guide will help boost local tourism, which jumped 14 percent in the last year.
Bronx residents say that they like the idea of having an official guide that showcases the best of their borough.
The guide, which is already available online, is now in Bronx visitors centers and hotels in Manhattan.
