A new report from New York City Comptroller Scott Stringer shows that New Yorkers have a longer work week than people in any other city across the country.
Stringer says that in the city, residents work about 49 hours per week with commute times factored in, compared to 42 hours on average nationwide.
He says the city should expand its transit networks and promote flexible work arrangements to eliminate all the extra time spent commuting.
