Bronx deals with spring snow

It may be the first day of spring, but you wouldn't know it by looking at the weather forecast.
The Department of Sanitation is revving up its fleet of snowplows and salt spreaders to clean up after the latest dose of winter.
It has also issued a snow alert for the city, and sanitation workers are being assigned to two 12-hour shifts to tackle the roadways.
Commuters are encouraged to dress for the snow, including a hat, scarf and gloves.
Everyone should allow extra travel time and plan to take mass transit and avoid the roads, if possible.
Most Bronx residents are just hoping that this is the last round of accumulation until next winter.
