The first flurries in the Bronx this season came down back in the fall on Nov. 26, and four months later, Mother Nature is still at it.
January was the most brutal month this winter, dropping more than 15 inches of snow on the borough. That led to weeks of snow and ice mounds covering the streets and sidewalks, and burying cars.
The snow didn't ease up much for February, with nearly 12 inches falling that month, along with record breaking cold temperatures.
Bronx residents did get a spring tease earlier this month, only to be thrown back to winter on the first day of spring.
