Commuters condemn BxM9 bus service
Commuters who use the MTA's BxM9 bus service to get to and from Manhattan say they can't stand how long the bus takes to pick them up.
They say once the express bus finally arrives, it is littered with garbage.
"You have to get here literally an hour sitting there, waiting for the bus and on the weekends, forget about it," said one commuter.
Councilman James Vvacca says that since travelers have to stick to a schedule, so should buses.
He says that the MTA has used bad weather as an excuse for the recent delays, but he says, it's not a seasonal problem and that residents have been dealing with these issues for years.
