It's time to grab your clubs and set up a tee time because golfers in the Bronx have a brand new course in their own backyard.
Trump Golf Links has officially opened after years of construction delays and budget issues. It's located right at the base of the Whitestone Bridge in the Ferry Point section of the borough.
The 18-hole course was designed by golf legend Jack Nicklaus and cost $260 million.
Representatives from the PGA are also looking at the course to possibly host future events.
Watchdog group NYC Park Advocates has called the course's opening a "fiscally irresponsible deal." The organization's president said in a statement, "It's a hole in one for Trump, who will be laughing all the way to the bank at the taxpayers' expense."
