Detective stripped of gun, badge after Uber rant

The NYPD detective caught on video berating an Uber driver has been stripped of his gun and badge.
Police Commissioner Bill Bratton says Patrick Cherry is also being transferred out of an anti-terrorism division. He called his comments unacceptable and said that his behavior will not be tolerated.
An Uber passenger recorded the incident on his cellphone after his driver was pulled over for honking at the detective for not using his blinker on the West Side Highway as he was parking.
During the video, Cherry is heard cursing at the Uber driver, insulting him and asking how long he's been in the country.
The Civilian Complaints Review Board is also investigating.
