BxM4 bus line gets improved schedule
Changes have been made to the BxM4 express bus line that will hopefully help commuters get to their destinations in a more timely manner.
State Assemblyman Jeffrey Dinowitz and City Council Member Andrew Cohen proposed two changes to the line. The first schedule change sees the bus arriving in midtown Manhattan before its usual time of 7:05 a.m. The bus will also leave midtown at 4:35 p.m. instead of 4:45 p.m., allowing riders to get home earlier.
While the change might seem small, Dinowitz says it is a much-needed one. He also says the fact that the MTA teamed up with elected officials to fix the problem is a sign of good things to come.
The new schedule went into effect Monday.
