Bodega robbed of thousands in cash, cigarettes

The NYPD is looking for a man who it says got away with tens of thousands of dollars in cash and cigarettes after breaking into a Bronx bodega.

Police released surveillance video of the suspect taken from inside the OJ Deli Grocery on East 174th Street back on April 6.

They say he broke in through a back door and cleared out two safes containing $48,000. He also grabbed more than $1,200 worth of cigarettes.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS
