Deli shut down for allegedly selling alcohol to minors
A Bronx bodega has been shut down for allegedly selling alcohol to minors.
Officers from the 41st Precinct announced on Twitter that employees of the Lucky Brothers Deli and Grocery sold the alcohol to underage customers.
The deli is located in the heart of Hunts Point on Faile Street, right across the street from an elementary school.
Police have not revealed details about how young the customers were, or how the illegal sales were discovered.
Residents say that more needs to be done to ensure minors aren't getting their hands on alcohol at other locations.
