Mayor's budget doesn't include funds for more police

Mayor Bill de Blasio unveiled the city's executive budget, but it does not include funding to hire more police officers.
NYPD Commissioner Bill Bratton has been calling for an additional 1,000 new cops to be added to the force.
De Blasio says the budget includes responsibly-funded projects from all city departments, and will help invest in New York's future in case of another economic crisis.
The budget also pushes for road repairs, reforms at Rikers Island and funding for public housing.
