Whether you're buying flowers or taking your mom out, you could be spending more on Mother's Day than ever before.
According to a new report, Americans will spend about 6 percent more on their mothers this year. The National Retail Federation adds that on average, people will spend about $173 total.
News 12 hit the streets to see how Bronx residents are spending and celebrating their moms this weekend.
Many say they'll be taking their moms out to eat for their special day, while others are buying cards, flowers or even jewelry.
