Police: Man robbed dental office, attacked employee

Police are searching for a man they say robbed a Mott Haven dental office and attacked an employee inside.

Police say the suspect walked inside 237 Willis Ave. Monday morning before business hours.

Surveillance video shows the suspect punching, kicking and choking a 43-year-old woman who was there cleaning the office. He then walked up to the front desk and took a box with $10,000 inside.

The woman suffered lacerations to her face, mouth and eye brow. She was taken to the hospital and is expected to be OK.

The suspect fled the scene on foot. He is described as a Hispanic male, wearing a black-hooded sweatshirt with white lettering, grey pants and black sneakers.
