Bronx man creates 24-hour mobile barber shop
One Bronx native has made being a barber a 24-hour job.
Barber Jsharpz has brought his skills on the road to about 30 clients in five boroughs and the tri-state area. He goes to them, sets up shop and all the client needs to provide is a chair to sit in.
After doing telecommunications for several years, Jsharpz says that he needed to do something more creative. Now he has made his passion for hair cutting into a career that he hopes will revolutionize the barber industry.
"If you do something that you believe in and makes you happy for the rest of your life, then do it," said mobile barber Jsharpz.
Jsharpz says that being available for clients 24 hours a day means that he sometimes won't be home until 3 a.m.
Besides his mobile barber service, Jsharpz spends a lot of time volunteering. He says once a month he will go to a local homeless shelter and cut hair for free.
