Bronx Week Parade brings positivity to residents

A celebration of all things Bronx has come to an end.

The Bronx Week Parade cascaded down the Mosholu Parkway for only a few hours, but in that time, it gave residents a chance to show off.

Some said that the timing couldn't have been better

"Of course we see what is happening with police brutality and so many other things, but there's many young people out there everyday rehearsing hard, going to college and doing well in school," said Tyrone Brown, the director of the Monroe College Band.

Residents are showing what the Bronx is really made of and putting negative things aside.
