Street festival celebrates Puerto Rican heritage

The Puerto Rican community in the Bronx celebrated their heritage Saturday with the colorful Puerto Rican Festival.
Dozens of shops hung their flags proudly as the sounds of salsa echoed all around 152nd Street.
Even in the summer heat, hundreds of people came out to have fun, dance and eat in the borough, home to one of the nation's largest Puerto Rican communities.
Traffic was heavy along local streets but the event is only a small preparation of what's to come on June 14, the day of the official Puerto Rican Day Parade.
