Jews from all across the world marched in the Celebrate Israel Parade in Manhattan Sunday.
State Sen. Jeffrey Klein joined the community at the Riverdale Y in the Bronx to participate in festivities to honor Jewish American Heritage Month.
Klein says it is important to for people to remember who they are and where they came from.
He says the best way to bring out the best in one another is by accepting all cultures and working together as Americans, regardless of ethnic or religious backgrounds.
