Man dies after being stunned by police
A 51-year-old man is dead after an altercation with police in the Bronx. 
According to the NYPD, two 911 calls were placed Monday morning about a man with scissors reportedly acting violently at 2263 Loring Place in University Heights. 
When cops arrived, they found Mario Ocasio armed with scissors, and one officer fired a stun gun and arrested him. Emergency responders also injected him with drugs designed to reverse the effects of heroin, but he later died at the hospital. 
The medical examiner is investigating and will determine the cause of death.
