Rush hour accidents tie up Cross Bronx
It was a tough Thursday morning commute for many drivers on the Cross Bronx Expressway after two back-to-back crashes.
The first accident was a fuel spill that blocked two lanes on the northbound side near Jerome Avenue.
Then a separate collision on the southbound side tied up more traffic near the Sheridan Expressway.
The chaos also created traffic delays into New Jersey and Westchester County.
