Residents enjoy summer-like weather
Thursday shaped up to be the hottest day of the year so far, with temperatures in the city hitting 90.
Residents were urged to be extra cautious when heading out in the sun.
In addition to the high temperatures, the UV index was also very high and the air quality was low Thursday. But that didn't stop some residents from hitting the beach.
News 12 spoke with one man who said after the harsh winter weather, he was waiting for his first beach day.
