The fourth annual Unity in the Community Festival kicks off this weekend in Kingsbridge.
The event will take place Saturday from noon until 6 p.m. on Reservoir Avenue between West Kingsbridge Road and 195th Street.
Organizers say that the goal of the event is to bring the very diverse community together and have a great time.
The free festival will feature everything from Salsa dancing, to bouncy castles and giveaways.
For those unable to make it to the festival, but need to be in the area this weekend, traffic diversions will be in place. Organizers say that some buses will be rerouted on the day of the event.
