Treasury Secretary Jack Lew announced Thursday that the $10 bill will be getting a new face, and for the first time will feature a woman.
The bill will go into circulation in 2020, the 100th anniversary of the passage of the 19th Amendment, which gave women the right to vote.
There has been no decision on which historical woman will get the honor of being the face of the $10 bill, and the Treasury actually wants public suggestions.
News 12 the Bronx hit the streets to ask residents if they liked the idea.
