Family searches for missing Bronx woman

A Bronx family is pleading for help finding a loved one who disappeared on her 67th birthday.

Juana Perez was caught on surveillance video leaving her Highbridge home at around noon on Friday and hasn't been seen since. Family members say they realized she was missing when they returned from vacation on Sunday.

Loved ones add that they are especially worried because Perez is not only diabetic and requires medication, but she is also unable to read or write.

Perez is described as being about 5 feet 5 inches tall and around 200 pounds. She has black hair and brown eyes, and was last seen wearing a white shirt, green skirt and black sandals.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts is urged to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS
