Bronx residents try to beat the heat

On another oppressively hot day in the Bronx, residents did their best to escape the heat and stay cool.

The New York City Department of Health recommends wearing sunscreen and drinking a lot of water to stay cool and hydrated.

Wednesday is expected to be cooler, with a high temperature of 85 degrees.

The rest of the week will be dry and see temperatures in the low to mid 80s, with a chance of a thunderstorm on Sunday.
